I Want it Wedneday

This week I'm asking for a lot. I want the perfect outdoor summer party. It doesn't have to happen soon (and in this backyard, it's not going to!) But this is something I want in the future. And I want all of these elements...

 

This is the cutest patio set ever! I want it!

But I would need a lot of sitting room for all my way cool friends...you guys are all invited!

Everything would be really colorful. And we would totally have those jugs filled with margaritas!

 

We wouldn't eat anything fancy, hamburgers, hot dogs, different salads..but we would use way fancy plates!

We would end the night with an ice cream bar and a hammock!

 Oh. And I would wear this dress!

I Want It Wednesday

I want to see Paul McCartney in concert! Actually, I would love to see The Beatles in concert, but since there are only two left...I'll settle for Sir Paul. Who am I kidding...settle?! I would do anything to get Paul McCartney tickets!

Sometimes I daydream that I was at Shea Stadium in 1965. Not that I would have been able to hear the music with all the screaming fans, but being at that concert would have been the most amazing thing ever. Daydream with me....

I Want It Wednesday

I want my haircut! I'm nervous though, it hasn't been cut in a long time. And it's very long. I hate when you first get it cut and you hate it.....and then right when it starts growing out, that's when you love it. Here are a few haircuts I like, but would probably never get done! I don't think I can pull bangs off and I'm scared to go too short.

They are probably all the exact same now that I look at them! And my haircut with bangs...atleast I'm consistent!

What do you think I should do to my hair? Give me pictures! I really want suggestions!

I want to find a good book to read! It's been a while since I read a good book. I've been working on Julie & Julia for OVER a month and really can't get into it. I thought since I loved the movie, I would think the book was amazing. In this case...not at all.

I like biographies, memoirs, anything that is interesting and moves fast. I really like memoirs about people who are not famous. Here are a few of my recommendations:

I Want It Wednesday

I feel like most of the things I write about for "I Want it Wednesday" always ends up with us talking about money trees! SO! I'm skipping all the extras and going straight for it....I WANT A MONEY TREE! How sweet would it be if you could just go outside, pluck a few hundreds off and know that when you go back the next day...there would be more money waiting for you! What would my first purchases be? Probably a tropical vacation, a sweet truck for Danny, lots of dresses for me and a really expensive bottle of wine (just to see if there is a difference!) But lets be honest....I'd probably want to save all the money. I think even if I had a money tree I would still have a hard time spending all of it!

I want to go on a shopping spree! I honestly can't remember the last time I bought something for myself. Here are the top things I would buy if given the chance to go on a spree!

 A new summer dress. Yes, I have millions of them (some still with tags) but I still want a new one!

A new tragus earring..mine fell out and I want a new one before it closes up!

Me and Danny are new fans of Criminal Minds...now we want the box set!

Anything and Everything from Anthropologie...I adore that store!

See, I'm not asking for much! So if you could please point me in the direction of a money tree...I won't spend too much! I promise!

I Want It Wednesday

I want to go to Disney World in the worst way. I've started a money envelope for our trip, and if all goes according to plan...we'll be able to go next March. But I want to go now. I want to eat a churro, a chocolate covered banana, take pictures with Mickey, ride Splash Mountain, pretend to be scared on the Tower of Terror and have a carefree vacation!

I check the Disney website religiously daily for prices. I figure for my DREAM vacation (which would include air, Disney hotel, most of the food, tickets to all the parks, and I want to have the "wine and dine" package) it will be about $2100. I probably won't end up spending that much...because I'm cheap and don't really care what kind of hotel I stay in (it's just a place to sleep!)

But seriously, I want to go to Disney..right now!

I Want It Wednesday

I'm totally in the mood for a Friendly's Reese's Pieces Sundae. I don't want a recreation that I whipped up myself...or the kind that comes in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. I want extra yummy peanut butter sauce, lots of crunchy Reese's...and sure, some vanilla ice cream. I could do without the chocolate sauce, but go ahead, throw some of that on too!

Has anyone else ever noticed that no matter what Friendly's you go to, no matter what you order...it always takes forever to get your food? Even the ice cream window takes forever!

But that sundae is totally worth the wait!

I Want it Wednesday

I'm not asking for much this week...just a little sleep. I'll even settle for a nap (I am the Nap Nazi..I don't do naps!)

I've settled into the routine of Danny's work schedule, we go to bed SO early. Then he gets up at 5:30, gives me a kiss and it takes me awhile to fall back to sleep...and I'm still up at 7. EW!

Add Miley to the mix...in bed by 10, waking up when I hear scratching and to make sure she hasn't peed anywhere, waking up at 5:30 when Danny gets up and takes Miley out, having to get Miley to stop crying because Danny left, and being woken up at 7:00 cuz she wants to eat. Potty training is EXHAUSTING ("Miley go potty" I feel so retarded saying it, but it works...every hour!) Two walks a day, constantly throwing a toy, trying to get her to stop scratching herself. OH! And making dinner, cleaning the house (which attracts dirt like crazy, thank you Miley!) and trying to fit in a shower..with a whining dog. UGH!

So, to all you Moms out there...I don't know how you do it. Especially working Moms!Currently I'm thankful I don't have a job...I get to potty train her the right way!

Buying a crate tonight. I've decided crate training is the way to go! It will break my heart when she whines though! Any tips?

I Want It Wednesday

This week, I want something that isn't materialistic. I want answers to LOST. I have been a religious fan for 6 seasons, even converted a few people into fans. LOST is addicting, frustrating and confusing. This is the final season and they are supposedly answering questions for the viewers..but after each episode...I just wind up more confused! I'm more interested in the flash-sideways and less interested about the island. Recently, it's gotten boring. I just want answers and for the season to end....well. How disappointing would it be that after six seasons of loyal viewing for the show to end horribly! So this week, I'm asking and wanting JJ Abrams to give his fans some answers!

I Want It Wednesday

This week is a no brainer. I want a puppy. I have the puppy picked out (she is on the far left in the picture) and have been talking to her owner. Now, to just make up my mind about this! She is free. But can we actually afford her? Food, leash, collar, snacks, crate, food dishes, toys, and everything else. Not to mention the family puggle averages $290 at her annual appointment and $60 every six months for her heartworm pills. Seriously? Could we do it. I want to do it.

I saw these Jessica Simpson sandals at Belk the other day. I fell in love. This picture does not do them justice. Beach? Yes. Dress? Yes. Skinny jeans? HELL YES. I do not want them...I need  them. Only problem? I hate spending money! Payless needs a knockoff of these, and I'll be the happiest girl ever!
