I have received three blog awards over the  past few weeks, and I think it's about time I pass them on!

I haven't been keeping up with the awards I've been getting! So, since I have nothing exciting to talk about...here are the awards! Both of these are from Rachel over at The Life and Times of a Military Spouse. Make sure you head over and check out her blog!

The first award is the Life is Good award. I love love love this award. Why? Well, because life really is good. And I love the Life is Good company! Check back tomorrow...I'll have more on that topic!!

The next award is the One Lovely Blog award. I can't take credit for my lovely layout and header...that's all Mrs. Gambizzle. But the content, all me...I lay everything out there for everyone to read!

To accept, I need to share 7 things about myself and pass the award onto 9 lovely blogs. 

1) I have had my Blackberry for less than 24 hours...aaaand I'm already addicted.

2) I love cheese. I haven't met a cheese I didn't like! Except, one time I went to a Christmas party and they put pate on the cheese plater...I did not like that!

3) I love to travel. I have been to England, France, Ireland, St. Thomas, Aruba and Jamaica. Along with numerous trips to Disney, roadtrips to Myrtle Beach, a family trip to West Palm Beach...and many many other awesome places.

4) I like not working. It can be boring..but I love keeping the house in order, cooking, cleaning and spending time with my husband. It's not what I pictured for myself. I would love to go back to school (I have my degree in History) and maybe take some advertising/marketing classes. 

5) My biggest pet peeve is when people "ew" food. If you haven't tried it, how do you know you don't like it. If you know you don't like, don't say "ew." Obviously I like it. It's just plain-ol-rude.

6) I can't afford my favorite store, Anthropologie, I never could. I don't know how it is my favorite if I have never actually bought anything for myself!

7) I hate sneakers. I love flip flops and boots. Sneakers make me feel short and stubby.

Thank you to Whitney at Everything Happens For a Reason for this great award! The rules of the award are to post seven things about yourself and give it to seven other versatile bloggers.

1. I, like Whitney, have never broke a bone. Well, atleast not my own! I once broke my sisters collar bone while we were trying to practice a sweet Nsync dance move. I think I cried more than she did!

2. I love baking from scratch and by hand...you don't always HAVE to use the mixer! Everything tastes better AND it's a great workout.

3. I have mentioned this before by saying "I don't drive." I think some of you have taken that as "I don't like driving." When really it means "I don't have a license because I'm scared shitless."

4. I hate using electricity. I freak out whenever I look at the meter. I'd rather sweat to death than pay for air conditioner! (Danny hates this I'm sure!)

5. Elizabeth from The View makes me angry.

6. I might cry during the LOST finale. It makes me sad that the series is over in less than a week!

7. If there is a meal on a menu and no one knows what it is...I'll get it. I'm daring..and could totally be on Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmerman!

Five things I love to do are....
1) Eat. I love eating, I love trying new things..I'll try anything once. I think I could be on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman!
2) Travel. I have been to France, England and Ireland. For islands I've been to Aruba, St. Thomas and Jamaica. I love being on a plane and I love experiencing new and exciting things that places around here don't have to offer.
3) Theme Parties. Does that even need an explanation? I love dressing up for any occasion...mostly if it's a fake holiday!
4) Being with my Family. It sucks that they are 800 miles away from me. I hate hearing about parties that I missed and little trips to the store that I'm missing out on. But when I am home I make sure I see everyone and I love that staying in touch with people is so easy! (thank you Facebook!)
5) Scrapbooking. I have fallen so behind with it. I document everything. I keep every ticket stub, ribbon, and decoration. And I proudly display them in my many scrapbooks!

She Loves My Blog!

I love waking up to awards! Thank you Jessie from What You Wish For. I love her blog, too! And the  new picture of flip flops and boots is actually from her page...so thank you for that too!

1. I love art. All forms of art. Photography, statues, theater. Opening performances of a musical ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes. I'm such a sucker!

2. I love fitting into my skinny jeans when I feel fat. Instantly makes me feel better about myself.

3. I love my Mom. She is an amazing person. I tell her I love her all the time, but I don't think it's enough.

4. I love Law and Order SVU. It's an addiction. Marathons are so much fun, even if I've seen all the episodes.

5. I love the way I felt on my wedding day. I felt beautiful! And I love my dress! It was perfect.

6. I love my husband. I love that he is my best friend. I tell him everything. (this is going beyond 10, but I also love cuddling, date night, and when he kisses me before he goes to work!)

7. Homegoods. It's the only place I like searching for a deal!!

8. I LOVE FOOD. Seriously, I should weight more than a cow. I have the appitite of a guy...pizza, burgers and burritos. MMM MMM Good!

9. I love cooking and baking. I love just getting in the kitchen and creating and knowing that it's making me happy..and eventually others too!

10. My Roomie. We were thrown together in a room freshman year of college...and now we're Roomies for Life. We still watch Lost together even though we live 800 miles away from each other. And she is the only person I actually call when I get sick of texting! She is the best!

My First Award!

I'll admit, whenever I visit someones profile and see that they have awards..I get a little jealous! But now, I have my own flair to show off! 

Nicole from Something Beautiful surprised me with my first award! "This award means you're really going places, Baby. You'll still be blogging about your great adventures 10 years from now, and I'll still be reading them." • I'll be thirty-four (YIKES!) years old. Danny will be thirty-seven. He will be out of the  Marines, hopefully doing something that he loves. I will be either a) a teacher b) a pastry shop owner or c) all of the above. I have high expectations for myself!


• I only want one kid, and I would like to have one before I'm 30. I want to be like my Mom...always helping in classrooms, easy to talk to, a friend favorite, and willing to do anything for my child.


• By 34 I want to have traveled A LOT. I want to go to Australia and New Zealand....and back to Ireland! I'll go anywhere..except Mexico..I have never wanted to go to Mexico! 


• I want to be living and owning a home in Massachusetts. With an amazing kitchen. And of course, A PUPPY.


• Ten years from now I want to be just as happy as we were on our wedding day; full of love, going on dates and still snuggling at night.
