Audrey's questions for me are:

Your Questions Answered: Me & Danny

Today is the last day of your questions! And today is all about me and Danny!

David and Sarah asked "How did you and your hubby meet?" In February 2009, I decided that I was going to move to North Carolina. A friend had moved down the previous summer, and her lease would be up in June. I hopped on board and agreed to move down. It was totally and completely random. I moved knowing one person, no job lined up, and no license. About a month before I moved, I placed a joke dating ad on a website, I was mostly trying to figure out what there was to do around the area I was moving to. I got a lot of messages from creepy guys sending poetry and a few people telling me all the cool places to hangout. And then there was Danny's message. It was titled "You shocked me." I laughed, loud and outloud. We messaged back and forth a few times and decided we would meet when I finally moved. We had our first date at a lake and went out to eat. So, what started out as a joke ad ended in a marriage!

Neidy wants to know "How did he pop the question?" I'll be honest, it's nothing you would see in the movies. We knew each other for about three months when we started talking about getting married. I knew people would think we were insane, my family had only met him once, and as my roommate put it "I didn't really know him." But, I believe, when you know...you know. I know the ins and outs of Danny, I know the good, the bad and the ugly. In the short time we knew each other, I knew him better than I have ever known anyone else. In October, we looked at rings, he bought one, and he asked me in the car. I planned the wedding in December, and we were married in March. We have been married a little over 5 months and I have loved every minute of it.

ACU's and ABC's asked "What was your favorite part of your wedding?" Tough question! I think my favorite part (besides marrying my best friend!) was that we had it in the afternoon. We had a brunch! The food was perfect, breakfast is  my favorite and lunch is Danny's favorite. It was seriously amazing!

Your Questions Answered: Totally Random!

Today is day three of answering your questions. These are the totally random ones that you guys asked!

Natalia asked "If you could become an expert in something, what would it be?" I have literally been staring at this  question for five minutes and can't come up with an answer! Maybe an expert chef?

Carmen had a few questions!
1) If you could travel anywhere in the world and money wasn't an issue, where would go? New Zealand and Australia. Hands down, no questions asked. I have always wanted to go there!
2) What do you miss the most being here in North Carolina? I miss Friday nights in Boston, shopping with my Mom, family dinners, living down the street from my entire family...I miss a lot of things!
3) What is your dream? (Or one of them if you have more than one) My dreams include calorie free foods, traveling as much as possible, never worrying about money, and living everyday to it's fullest

CupCake Girl asked "What's something you've been wanting for a really long time?" To get over the fear of driving. I'm 24, petrified, and license free. It's not as complicated as some people seem to think. But I do wish I would get over the fear. Maybe I'll go to a hypnotist...

The Sometimes Single Mom asked "What is your favorite dessert?" I love bananas foster! The first time I had it, shockingly, was at my colleges dining hall! It's a rare treat, but I love it whenever I get the chance to have it!

Elizabeth said "They make your life into a movie. What are a few can't miss scenes and who would play you?" Well, since I look like I'm 12, one of those tween actresses would probably play me. It  would be a comedy, filmed like 40 Year Old Virgin, and all of those funny movies! Can't miss scenes: St. Patricks Day in Jamaica, throwing up on planes and trains, all funny and awkward moments in my life would be part of the movie.

Jessica asked "If money were no object, what would you do for someone in your life?" I would take my entire family on a trip around the world. And we would eat the most amazing food!

Bride4Life also had a few question!
1) If you could have any career (sky's the limit) what would it be? Okay, this  might sound crazy...but I would love to have Andrew Zimmerman's job. He does two of my favorite things: traveling and eating. He eats all sorts of weird things, but I really think I could do it! In my mind, if someone thinks it tastes good...how bad can it be?!
2) If you had kids, what would you name them (boy and girl)? I remember when I was younger me and my friends always named our future kids, I can't remember any of them though! I think for a boy I like Tristan..but I don't think I would name my son that. And for a girl, I like Grace. Kids aren't in our immediate future, so I don't really have any names picked out!
3) What is your favorite mixed drink? Margarita, on the rocks, with salt.
4) Describe your perfect Christmas (be creative). I'm assuming you  mean one that hasn't already happened! My perfect Christmas would be both of our families going on vacation somewhere. No gifts, just vacation. Maybe a tropical island. But we would still have the traditional Christmas dinner! I think it would be fun!

Your Questions Answered: Life with My Marine

Today is day two of answering your questions. Today they are all about life with the my Marine. A lot of people were interested in this topic!

Brooke Ashley and Amber asked "What do you like best about being a Marine spouse? What do you like least?" I love having a husband that I am so proud of. I love the amazing support system I have found in other military spouses. I don't like the possibility of deployment, weeks apart because of training, and some of the silly rules. Atleast once a week we have conversations revolving around clothing choices, how far he can travel without leave, and bars Marines can't go to in town. Even though I make jokes out of it, I understand the rules.

Elianna asked "What did you find easiest about transitioning to being a military wife, and what was hardest?" Me and Danny have been a bit spoiled, we have yet to spend anytime apart (except when we travel on our own, the Marines haven't separated us..yet.) So, I don't really think I'm the "go to person" for what its like having to transition, because really...I haven't had to. I already lived in North Carolina and away from my family. But I will say, understanding and learning the acronyms is hard. EVERYTHING has an acronym. I'm a planner, so it's hard not being able to plan things months in advance. But honestly, right now, I can't say transitioning has been difficult.

Renee and Jordan both asked "If you and Danny could PCS ANYWHERE in the World...where would you choose and why? AND what would you miss most about where you are now?" Hmm..I would love to be out in San Diego. Some of Danny's best friends are stationed out there. We always had such a fun time with them, and I love looking at all of their pictures online. They look like they are having such a blast. I would miss living within driving distance and cheap airfare to Massachusetts. I would really miss all the great friends I have made in North Carolina.

Lauren asked "What is your favorite thing to do in Jacksonville?" Okay, there really isn't much to do in Jacksonville. I can't really remember the last time we hungout in Jacksonville! We travel to Wilmington and New Bern a lot. I like that the beach is close by. And there are a lot of restaurants in Jacksonville. But it makes me sad that none of my favorites are here...like Panera and Qdoba!

Your Questions Answered: Childhood Memories

Today is the first round of Your Questions! Today I'm going to do all the childhood and growing up related questions, I think these were my favorite questions!

Goodnight Moon asked "When you were a kid, did you have one nightmare that scared the crap out of you?"  Do I have to choose just one? Because I have the most vivid and memorable dreams. I once had a dream I was flying with Peter Pan, jumping from couch to couch in the family living room in our old house. It was creepy, because Peter Pan is kinda creepy. I had a reoccurring dream that Edward Scissorhands lived at the end of our cul-de-sac, we had picnics at his house every weekend. And the most creepy dream was when gigantic astronauts landed in the cul-de-sac and looked in my window while I was sleeping. Needless to say, I'm scared of open windows at night til this day.

Steph asked "What did you want to be when you grew up when you were little?" I always wanted to be a teacher. But I think I wanted to do it for all the wrong reasons, like...guaranteed summer vacations. When it came time to apply to colleges, I chose the Elementary Education major. It only lasted half of a semester, before I realized I didn't even really like kids. I went from Education to considering Communications, to no major, to a History major. My thought process was "well, I like History...there must be something I can do with it." Know what I can do with it? I can be a teacher.

Laura asked "What is your greatest childhood memory?"  I don't think I have any bad childhood memories, so it's really hard to choose just one. But for some reason, whenever I think of growing up, I think of all the fun times I had with my sister and our neighbors, Frank and Adam. Back in the day, our backyard was a huge ditch (now it's filled in with lots and lots of trees) we would make forts out of anything and everything. Until the day my Dad told us he would build us a tree house. He kept putting it off and one day told us "the man down back won't let me." Being kids, we believed him. We were so mean to that old man. When we were roaming the backyard playing we would be rude and annoying. But we didn't care, he wouldn't let us have our tree house. In the meantime, Dad build us a regular clubhouse (I think he really just wanted a shed!) We had our Goosebumps club, only for exclusive members. I think the posters and club rules are still posted. Years later we found out that the old man never said we couldn't have a treehouse, Dad just didn't want to build it! I still feel horrible that we were so mean to that old man!

Laura also asked "Growing up where did you see yourself going and how is that different from today?" I never pictured myself living 800 miles away from home. I never pictured myself marrying a guy I knew for less than a year. I never pictured myself married to the military. I always pictured my life happening in Massachusetts, working and using my college degree. But because of one path I chose (to randomly move to North Carolina) everything changed. But I wouldn't change any of it!

I can not believe I have over 400 followers. I think I'm a pretty boring person, but apparently my stories are entertaining enough to keep you guys coming  back for more!

I'm jumping on the "ask me questions" bandwagon. There must be something you want to know about me! Once I get a good amount of questions (come on, there are 400 of you....I should be getting a lot!) I'll do a post answering all of them.

So what are you waiting for?!
