It's been a long day, but a good day. I haven't gotten much done on the crafty front, but I got some bills paid, had a good doctors appointment (plan to talk about that tomorrow), spent some time with my Mom, time with John/Bec/and babies, and now I'm wiped out!
I just wanted to let everyone know, in case you noticed, that I haven't run my blog contest the last two months. (I think that's all its been. I do plan on running it again this month, so comment, comment, comment if you want to win free stuff from my shop!

First I participated in One World One Heart, and then the Bead Soup Blog party. Both were a lot of fun, and I wish I had more time to get to all the blogs because I missed quite a few of them! I'm really not surprised to see my numbers down. Between migraine fighting - and being just plain busy when I wasn't fighting migraines - I didn't blog as much this last month! I wonder what crazy December will hold?

Happy Reports to Start the Month off Right!
Let's kick this month off right! First I want to give you a report on the money raised this last month. Unfortunately none of the pieces in the Breast Cancer Awareness sections sold, so I didn't end up raising any money this year for BCA - BUT, I didn't finish my big piece until the very end of the month and this necklace will be staying in my store, dedicated to BCA, until it sells!
The good news is that, through my two on-line shops, my two consignment stores, and in person sales, I had the best month I think I've had all year! As a result I've raised $17 to donate to the local homeless shelter this month. I'm very excited about that! I look forward to raising more money for them this month.
I will be talking more about my plans in my newsletter when it goes out in the next day or two, but I have a bazaar coming up, and I might be getting a third consignment store, more on that later!

Did you know that Novemeber is Epilepsy Awareness month? Purple is the color they've chosen to represent their cause, and as we all know, it's my favorite color! One of my team mates is working to raise awareness and she chose my Spirit Walker Necklace in this treasury she did dedicated to Epilepsy Awareness.
And lastly - as if this post isn't long enough - I've been trying to find the time to list the occasional new item or relist items that are expiring! I've been busy, busy, busy, so I'm not sure where I've squeezed it in, but apparently I have because here's a new set of 9 to show off! Crafty ADD Update #13
I know some think that 13 is an unlucky number - but I have lots to show off this week so it must not hold true for me! So let's get to it.
Crochet
I realized a few days ago, with panic, that the baby shower is NEXT WEEKEND! I sat down and figured out how many squares I had left, how many days (leaving time to wash it once), and how much that means I need to crochet a day. I have to crochet and attach 6 squares a day! Now I've put in that kind of time on bead weaving many a time, but never crocheting!
Fortunately I'm right on track :) In the last couple of days I've crocheted and attached 16 squares! I have two more done since I took the pic this afternoon, and I have two more left to go to finish up my goal for the night. I know I can do it!
Cross Stitch
Not much progress from last week - but I've finished all the grey outlining! I won't get much done on it this week either...well at least not until the baby blanket is done! Then again once the blanket is done I'm going to need a serious break from crocheting....
Oh yeah, that's what knitting is for :P
Jewelry
I usually don't have a ton to show off in the jewelry category because I don't list everything I make in these updates - usually it's just whatever my WIP is - or maybe a special project that's not going on-line. Well this week I still have tons to show even with that! The two hemp bracelets are a custom order for little twin girls for Christmas! I'm excited - because I love kids - and I love twins! So I'm thrilled that I got a chance to do this. I just wish it hadn't taken me so long to get the hemp color I needed. Fortunately I had an AWESOME customer who was very understanding!
The memory wire bracelet is what Meri ordered with her Gift Certificate from my Top Commentators contest. I love how it turned out! She loves woodsy things, and liked the look of memory wire, so this is what I came up with for her. :)
I'm back partcipating in the Thursday Sweet Treat weekly theme! This weeks was "In the Stars." Fortunately I recently bought those cute star beads, so coming up with a piece for this week was easy! I also need to restock my consignment store - so that's where this one is going! Of course, if anyone is interested, I can easily make another one for any interested customer.
I just have to show these off too! Even though these Bright and Cheery Disc Earrings are listed on Etsy and will be showing up next time I do a spotlight on my recent listings. Why? Because I'm excited about them! LOLI've only made a few things with circular brick stitch so far. A pendant for my "Aztec Treasure"necklace, and for a pair of earrings called "Whirl of Colors." Both of those simply used seed beads. For these earrings I branched out a wee bit more and used a larger bead for the center and several different sizes of seed beads - and it went together like a dream! Look for more pieces in similar styles to be showing up in my shop over the next few months.
What's Next?
Well, like I said a good majority of my time this week is being devoted to crocheting. However, both my consignment shops need to be restocked as well! And I have an order that I need to work on tonight to adjust its length so I can mail it when I go to the post office tomorrow.
Did I mention my grandparents are also in town?
*whew*
I WILL get a good photo of the blanket when it's done to go up in next week's ADD post. I'll also try to get some shots of my consignment pieces and either give them their own post or put them in next weeks ADD post. In the mean time - lets hope my fingers don't fall off!

More About my Project
Yesterday I blogged about my jewelry board project. One of my friends asked why I was hanging all my jewelry up? Well the answer is fairly simple - I have too much jewelry!
Ok, maybe not too much, but the only way to put it in a jewelry box would be to buy an expensive jewelry armoire. While that would be pretty, that is, like I said, expensive! In my apartment up north I simply put a bunch of thumb tacks into the wall. It was a college apartment and rather pathetic, so I didn't care :P
Since we've moved home from Ellensburg most of my jewelry has been boxed up, or lying in a plastic tub. So either I've had no access to it for a year, or it's been tangling easily in my box so I haven't been pulling it out too often!
Using the bulletin board to hang up my necklaces and bracelets, and then the embroidery hoops for my earrings, will keep my jewelry untangled and easy to access! That means I'll probably wear it more often. Who knows? Maybe that will lead to more sales!

Feeling Lucky This Week :)
I definitely needed a "pick me up" after moving last week. I was extra tired and sore, and of course we're still in the process of unpacking, so that doesn't help any! It means I always have this feeling that there is something I "should" be doing instead of relaxing and crafting :P Not to mention there's always the "so where DID that end up?" Fortunately we have the majority of it done by now and there are only a few boxes and the pictures left! Woohoo!
Anyway, I received lots of goodies this week! So that definitely helped balance out the exhaustion and stress from the move :) First thing I received was some really cute charms from Athena Workman. I won these in a blog contest and my picture here does NOT do them justice. I was just snapping quick shots last night so I could blog...and apparently these ended up really washed out :( And yes, I'm too lazy this morning to go take new one's :P It's only 7am here after all folks! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to using these in my jewelry design. They will sit on my table in full view until I come up with the perfect design to use them in :D
I also won a blog contest from my friend Meri - my featured artist from yesterday! Isn't this earring cute??? I love it! Can't wait to wear it :) I told her my fav colors and told her to play...and play she did...and I love it! Good thing I own a lot of purple clothes huh?
Last, but certainly not least, I woke up yesterday morning to find this chain mail ball sitting on top of my closed lap top! My hubby had seen a book on chain mail while we were at the craft store, asked me if I had an links, and then asked if he could play with them! I didn't really expect much to come out of it, but he's a night owl so how was I to know? Apparently he found this design on-line and he spent a good long time making it! I was so thrilled! I attached it to the little lanyard and it's not going everywhere with me on my purse. And the fun part? He wants me to order more rings for him to play with! Who knows what he'll come up with next?
