Accessory Swap!

You all know I'm a sucker for a good swap! I recently participated in an accessory swap over at Teaching in Heels. I was partnered up with Pamela from Over 50 Feeling 40.

This might have been the hardest swap I've done! When I hosted the summer swap...I could get anything involving summer. And the fall swap was just as easy! Knowing I could only get accessories was hard! I think Pam will like part of her package...the other part might have been a far reach! I tried really really hard though!

Pamela on the other hand got me some totally gorgeous stuff! And everything matched the outfit I was already wearing! Super cute earrings, bracelet and scarf. Thank you so much! I love everything!

YAY! Fall Swap Package!

First, I want to thank everyone who participated in the swap! 48 people signed up for the swap...and I'm really hoping that all 48 got awesome packages!

I was paired up with Ashley Amazing. I love love love my package! It's always good getting stuff in a swap that you will actually use!

I got a super cute Halloween card, a candy corn/witch/pumpkin votive holder, an amaaaazing smelling pumpkin pie candle (I wonder if she knows thats my favorite smell!) a cute plate (I can picture cookies on it!), a cookbook (mmmm the cheesecake on the front makes my moth water) cookie cutters, trick-or-treat dish towels, and Breast Cancer Awareness pens!

Thanks so much, Ashley! I really love everything. I can't wait to start making some recipes from the cookbook!

I'm so happy that I decided to host this swap, it sounds like everyone is having fun picking out all the stuff...and getting gifts in the mail. I got my swap package in the mail today! I didn't think the mailman would ever  come..4:30?! Why so late!?

My swap partner was the beautiful Brittney from A Day in the Life of a Navy Wife. Shopping for her was so easy..it was like shopping for myself! And I was so excited to get this package. Seriously...love everything!

I got the cutest bag (definetly already switched my stuff over!) bright pink flip flops (that I almost got her!) bright nail polish, blush, a book (looks like a cheesy love novel...YES!) and the Food Network magazine...I'd love to eat that pasta right now!

I have an idea, but I need your help. I was doing my usual blog-hopping yesterday and saw that someone participated in a swap. The girl who organized the swap paired everyone up and they sent each other summer essentials. There was a $25 limit (not including shipping.) And it looked like SO much fun! I don't know about you, but I love getting mail...and I love shopping for other people!

Before I get too excited, would anyone be interested in doing this. Also, we need a theme! Any ideas? Any feedback would be great!

A Big Texas Welcome

I love the Etsy Bloggers Team! I don't always get to participate as much as I would like, but when I have these are some of the most wonderful gals around. Recently we did a journal swap! I had a really bad month and wasn't able to complete mine (barely started it) but fortunately my partner understood. Look what I got!

This journal was made by Erica of Nico Designs. I had a lot of fun reading what she wrote and looking at her cute little pictures she drew for me! Definitely not my forte, I can't really draw and I've always wanted to, so it always extra impresses me when other people can!

Bead Soup - My Offering

I'm participating in a swap called "Bead Soup" that's being hosted by Lori Anderson - and I'm really excited! Basically its a whole bunch of jewelry artist who all signed up, we each have a swap partner, and we're sending them some bead soup. What's in this bead soup? A focal, some components to go around it, and a clasp. The picture below is what I sent to my bead soup partner, and I can hardly wait to see what I'm getting! It was hard to part with anything though, I kept thinking of how I could turn this into a necklace on my own :P I bet she comes up with something fantastic!
