I managed to put in a few hours of work in the mud today but still don't have as many pendants done as I would like. Which means I'll be taking a break in an hour to go over to the neighbor's place for a glass of bubbly to toast and admire their long awaited new curtains (we celebrate small things around here) then I will be back to the clay.
As I tweeted the other day, I've made some new pendants and I'm really anxious about how they'll turn out/be received by you all. I have a thing about showing anything pre-fired, be it greenware or bisque just in case it looks like pond sludge once I glaze it. I would feel like the harbinger of disappointment if it looked all promising in pre-glazed form but ended up all drippy or wonky colored or warped. On that note, I'll be including some more of these connector loops from this post in my next glaze firing...any color requests?
Last but not least today, congratulations to Kristen from MJM Jewelry Designs, she's the winner of my extra copy of this month's Bead Trends magazine! Just need a snail mail address and I'll get it headed your way!
