My Experience On Wire Jewelry Class By Emi Kaz

I finally signed up for my first jewelry making class with Emi Kaz. I took up jewelry making as an hobby not too long ago and have been learning through reading books and internet. I told Emi that I would like to go straight to intermediate class thinking that I have mastered the basic skill. Well, the event has proven me wrong as Emi has to correct my basic skills along the way. Hey, quite embarrass right? But luckily Emi was nice enough to still proceed with the class. However, he said he will make sure such self taught jewelry makers like me to attend his basic class first before jumping into intermediate class in future:)

Here is the output of the first project - a bracelet combining frame construction, wire wrapping, spiral making , coiling, hammering just to name a few. Things that I imagine to be difficult to do in the past, turned up to be something doable! It is amazing to have the feeling that I can do it too, wow... So it is important to learn the right method :)

I have one design in mind using the technique taught above. I will not tell you what first until i do it...

The second project is a strechable ring. You can choose to make one or few circles with one ring. Looks simple, but it does require you to know the right technique to do a good one. Hush.. I will probably make a few for sale for the WAO's charity drive!

By thew way, Emi is a very good teacher where he would ensure that I use the right methods to do up the 2 designs. So the 3 to 4 hours course actually stretch to almost 6 hours + . Really appreciate his patience.
