I’m Zane Mizone – Gulbe. I live in Riga, capital city of Latvia. I cant tell that I’m working with beads since I remember myself , like most of artists. I started making jewelry one year ago, a self-taught artisan. I learn basic from internet and books, magazines. Then I open the big door of fantasy.
I handcraft jewelry designed by myself in my studio at home using a variety of techniques. I love polymer clay, specially Fimo. But also I use techniques like beading, felting, wire crocheting. I’m always looking for something new and interesting. Next step will be (I hope so) glass bead working. We in Latvia have huge problem with materials for glass working. So its my dream for now!
I always had desire to make human more bautiful so at start I finished make up school and Im Make up artist but I always new that I can do something more, something abiding. Then I met one familiar women who make necklaces and then I understood I want to try. So I made my first earrings for my wedding day! Everybody loved them and they didnt now that I made them.I'm selling my creations in latvian online store http://www.bijou.lv/ and fairs. bijou.lv is closed till april. My friends realy like jewelry I make so lot of items even dont get in stores.
