TWELVE WEEKS

AH! So last night I went to the bridal store with two of my bridesmaids, Lindsey and Veronica, to see if they liked the dress that the other two girls, Ashley and Michelle, liked. I had to ask my designated wedding dress planner when we should order their dresses by, she said it depends how many weeks until the wedding. I pulled out my calendar and OH.MY.GOD. It's only TWELVE weeks away. She was like you need to order them NOW. But since my friends (much like me) are poor, my Mom is going to order them, and they can pay her back.

I can not believe its only twelve weeks away!

I ordered invitations yesterday and they are a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

Save the dates are officially in the mail and people have already started to receive them! Now I can finallyyyyy show you guys what they look like!!

Home Life

I've been in Massachusetts for two weeks and I'm loving it. I have been so busy with planning our wedding, working, Christmas shopping/parties, and catching up with my friends. And to top things off, I got a little sick over the weekend. Myself inflicted stomach pains started when I decided to eat two Fiber One bars a day, for a month..then decided to take Correctol. FYI: Always research side effects before taking medicine. Seriously thought I was dying. Dad wanted to take me to the hospital. All I wanted to do was cry. Thank God that's over and done with!

I went for dress alterations on Sunday! Wearing the entire outfit, complete with shoes, made me feel absolutely amazing. I can't wait to walk down the aisle in it! And my bridesmaids are going to look so beautiful, I love the dresses we decided on! We are also having a flower girl and ringer bearer. Of course, Kaleb will be the ring bearer. And Danny's niece will be the flower girl. It's going to be way cute!

I miss Danny a lot. We missed out on two weekends together. That's four nights of hugs, kisses and pillow talk. Might not seem like a lot, but when your used to seeing someone every weekend..it kinda sucks! I can't wait for Christmas Eve for Santa to bring him to me!

And a huge congrats to fellow blogger and USMC girlfriend, Allie, on her recent engagement! You guys are way cute and I'm so happy for you guys!

My Checklist

Ceremony and Reception Hall - CHECK (and because we're having a way small, family ceremony..they waved the FIVE HUNDRED dollar fee!)

Photographer - CHECK (Anna May who did our amazing engagement pictures is flying up from North Carolina and not charging us for any of her travel fees!)

DJ - Getting There! (I have an appointment with an awesome local DJ, he has been featured on The Knot and I have seen him manyyyy times. OH and they gave us a military discount!)

Invitations - Haven't even looked (but I did order the Save the Dates! And they should be in the  mail by the first of the year!)

Centerpieces - I have the idea (now I just need to become a little more crafty...)

DRESS - CHECK (fell in love with it the second I tried it on! Alterations THIS WEEKEND!)

Shoes - CHECK (they weren't my $550 shoes, but they are still cute...and I will totally wear them again!)

Flowers - I know what I want, and its simple (and I have an appointment with the florist the week after Christmas.)

Fiance - HUGE CHECK! (and he is amaaazing!)

Everything is falling into place!!!!

The Dress!

I went to three proms and for each prom I bought the first dress I tried on.

Today me and Mom went to the bridal shop and I tried on about 15 dresses. I LOVED the first one I tried on, but it was quickly replaced by the second dress...which was a winner until I got to the last dress. The second I put it on I knew it was THE one.

It's SO beautiful!

Dress shopping tomorrow with two of the four bridesmaids!
