In the past years, I was able to make lots of bracelets and necklaces from leather cords, memory wires and wire works of looping and to simple stringing techniques. I also was able to make earrings but just a few pieces. I have accessories such as cell phone charms, cell phone pouches, beaded bags and wallets, and even belts made from beads but I do not have a ring. Not even a simple one that I have made for myself. Now, this is a surprise to me as to why I am not able to make a ring or have tried making one.
I have not tried and learned, yet making a ring so I researched for free video tutorials at Diylessons.orgwebsite and found some beautiful pieces from beginner to intermediate techniques in making a ring.
Here is a design that I am excited to try and learn!
I find the design elegant and I think it will look great on my ring finger. The design is a creation from Beading on a Budget and uses wire wrapping techniques. The materials I need are just copper wires, pliers and cutters.

There are also some simple techniques in making a ring found onDiylessons.org. Like this ring from Auntie’s Beads demonstrated by Karla Schafer called Make a Pearly Dangle Ring.
This design is easy and I think the technique is suited for beginners. The steps are really simple. All you have to do is string several pieces of beads and attached them on the ring finding. There are ring findings available in the market and you can also search them on Diylessons.org
I cannot wait till I try out these videos myself and make a ring, and hopefully, be able to share to all of you, Handmade Jewelry Club avid readers out there. I will surely keep you posted on my progress in making a ring project.
