Few days ago, someone asked me how I monetise Handmade-Jewelry-Club and if I ever make money for the effort I spent. Well, I must tell the truth... I don't earn that much... But it is sufficient for me to at least pay for the cost of buying materials to fulfil the addictive hobby. I would like to take the opportunity to share with you how I 'earn' from running a jewelry making blog. It also serves as a disclaimer that the blog is supported by ads.
1. Project Wonderful
- It is a ad program based on bidding concept...If you have just started with blogging, you can try it out as you may mostly have higher ad revenue than other ads programs.
2. Google Adsense
- Currently, I have the highest ad revenue from Google Adsense. When I first started, I barely see income from here. But after 1 year of blogging, revenue from adsense as superceeded the rest.
3. Selling jewelry making tutorials
- I created ebooks in pdf format and started selling them here and some other marketplaces. It provides good stream of revenue as well.
4. Selling Ad space
- Some columns on the right are ad space which I 'rent' out. The rate is very affordable right now. Hence, I don't earn that much now. Click here to find out more.
5. ClickBank
Some of the items from the site bar are from clickbank. By identify the right products, it can be a good source for revenue. I can also earn from sales of those people whom I referred to join ClickBank. Click here to find out more.
5. Amazon's affiliate program
- I review and recommend books from Amazon. The income stream is low currently. That could be that I have not been actively promoting books. You can try it out and let me know your view.
6. Text Link Ads
- I see potential of Text Link Ads becoming the main revenue generating program. In a short span, I see reasonable results. I can also earn by referring publishers to join the site. I would encourage to give it a try. Click Text Link Ads
